Indeed God’s "genius" abilities far outweigh the most intelligent minds the world has ever known. This Genius is the mind that created the world and all that is within it. As Creator, He has ultimate authority over the earth. As Creator, as you trust Him, He has ultimate authority over the story of your life. The root concept behind authority is authorship, not as in writing, but as in origination or creation. One has authority over what one authors. A creator determines the purpose of His creation and holds all rights to it. Did you hear that? He holds all rights to the purpose of your life? There may be moments in your life that fear, dread and apprehension cause you to struggle with the question, “Who is really in charge?”. However, neither you, your family, your possessions nor your destiny are at the mercy of the enemy or circumstances. God is not behind your misfortune. He didn’t author it. However, this same genius is the author and perfector of your faith and your destiny. How can you not trust such a loving, faithful God, who is the synonym for superior intelligence?
