Hostage crisis. None of us like the images that come to our mind when we hear that phrase. Americans, on foreign soil, blindfolded prisoners of hostile captors - an evil plan derived to purposefully cause fear and harm to the people that love those taken captive.

It should come as no surprise that our enemy would attempt to take us hostage. Though he can not own us, He does desire to enslave us by paralyzing us with limitations, hindrances, and the cares of this world. Why? One reason alone. God boldly proclaims that He has set His love upon us as His most treasured possession. The enemy targets us, but don’t forget for one minute who the real target is - the loving, faithful Father who cares deeply for His people. Your enemy will never get over losing his place of favor with the Most High God.

What is God's response to the enemy's terrorist acts against Him? The most intense re-enactments Hollywood has ever produced pales in comparison to His divine interventions. No negotiation, no treaties, no concessions! With the force of His power alone, He backs up His promise* to those who have known His name…“I will deliver you, I will set you on High, you will call and I will answer. I will be with you in trouble to deliver you, to honor you, and to show you My salvation”. Hostage crisis…NO MORE!
