Standing before the Lincoln Memorial on August 28, 1963, Dr. Martin
Luther King declared, “I have a dream”. Those four historical
words forever changed the nature of equality in our nation. Dr. King’s
dream was not compelled by passion alone but stabilized by his deep
personal conviction in securing justice for all men. Dr. Martin Luther
King believed, fought and stood for this dream.
What do
you believe? Belief is the outcome of conviction and conviction is the
state of being convinced. If you are convinced your life matters, then
passion will drive that dream forward. If you are convinced your family
is God’s number one priority for you, then passion will make that dream
a reality.
When passion is missing in your life, don’t revisit your emotions or
feelings. Revisit the seat of your conviction, embrace what you believe,
and with passion declare…I
HAVE A DREAM!
