"I must rise and seek the one I love."
Song of Solomon 3:2

What image comes to your mind when you hear the word ‘seek’? Let me help you clarify the intensity of this word. It’s Monday morning, you’re running late when you discover you have lost your only set of car keys - or how about this - Only hours before your first trip overseas, your passport has suddenly gone missing - Or how about the pulse-raising realization that after a costly day at the mall your debit card is nowhere to be found?

Now do you have a powerful visual for the word seek? The question we all must answer is, do we seek God with the same desperation, intensity and strength?

When we can't seem to locate Him in our day, seeking must be our resolve. When the conscious awareness of His presence seems to have slipped away, will I surrender to doubt, pity and the accusing lies of my enemy? Or will I expend the energies of my heart, overcome my fear, and out of intense love for Jesus...seek Him, until I find Him?!

"Our quest for God is not a matter of discipline, but desire-
It is not a question of sacrifice, but undistracted love."
-Francis Frangipane
