Scientists have validated the fact that no two fingerprints are ever the same. Have you ever thought about what fingerprints of faith you have left in this life? The times you stood to believe the Word of God and act upon what it said. What about the fingerprints of good works in your life? The times you gave with your heart and hands to those who needed to be encouraged to hold on when desperation sought to destroy.

The writer of Hebrews says, “…don’t throw away your confidence for it has great recompense of reward.” One of the definitions of recompense is “to reimburse for personal sacrifice”. It is no wonder that the enemy would desire that we forget the places that bear the "fingerprints" of actions performed in Christ’s name. The word recompense proves that God does want to fully pay His people for their hard work of faith. How does he do that? By giving you victories in various areas of your life such as healed relationships, financial breakthroughs, and prodigal children being restored. We need to raise our level of expectation and take a moment today to "tally" those places that we have placed our hands in faith. Then rejoice, praising Him that it is His delight to reward the works of the just who have chosen to “live by faith.
