“The time has come, Father glorify your Son that your Son may glorify You!”  Finally, He says it! All through His ministry, Christ consistently told others that His time had not come yet. What? As if walking on the water, healing the sick, casting out demons, and raising the dead were merely a prelude. How could any of the above miracles be a prelude? Because none of them revealed the full weight of His glory. His true glory-His divine purpose-was still hidden, waiting to be revealed at just the right time.

 Let’s not overlook the hidden message in this passage. Yes, it is a profound testimony to the ultimate purposes of the Cross. But I also hear in His words an encouragement to all who will choose to follow His lead. Hidden glory is always revealed in the “now”. Your adversary desires for you to label the glorious moments of yesterday as your “time”. Why? In order to block your belief and pursuit in the manifestation of the full weight of God’s glory being revealed through you today. “Any moment” of yesterday’s experiences were simply a prelude to what God is planning to do today…for hidden glory is just that, hidden to fulfill God’s powerful-purposes, right here, right now. Don’t ever stop believing that NOW is the time for the world to see His glory in you!
